Caryn Coff is owner and director of Visiting Angels in eastern Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. She has spent a career spanning two decades blending sound business skills, entrepreneurial spirit and creative intervention to help improve quality of life for seniors both in the community and in the home.
Caryn received her master’s degree in health administration from St. Joseph’s University and her bachelor of science in human resource management from the University of Delaware. Working for United Hospitals, Inc., a regional hospital system, Caryn re-engineered traditional Volunteer Services into an innovative Hospitality Services department, improving guest relations and streamlining the release of patient information using only non-paid – primarily elderly – hospital volunteers.
In 2004, Caryn and her husband purchased the eastern Montgomery County franchise of Visiting Angels, the nation’s largest and fastest-growing network of at-home assisted living services for seniors. Since then she has grown the territory manyfold, focusing on providing the highest quality care and accountability to seniors and their loved ones. A key driver of Visiting Angels under Caryn’s leadership is matching qualified, compassionate and committed caregivers with seniors and their families, encouraging loved ones to participate in the selection process. The results include exceptionally long relationships between families and their caregivers; improved quality of life among seniors; and a healthier work-life balance among their families.
Caryn is a licensed financial advisor and insurance consultant, with expertise in crafting and managing life, health and annuity programs. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of Art-Reach, a nonprofit cultural service organization that helps underserved audiences – including the elderly – to experience arts and cultural programming in and around Philadelphia.
She resides in Holland, Pennsylvania, with her husband and two daughters.
