"Visiting Angels of Lewisburg has been providing caregivers for my husband for almost three months now. We are now using about 18 hours a day, 7 days a week including the overnight hours. The caregivers are professional, well trained, compassionate, conversational with my husband (which he enjoys) and kind. They have the skills both technical and social required of this unique job. It is not easy to walk into different homes and different situations and provide these services, all unique to the people and places they go. My husband has terminal cancer which has affected some of his cognitive functioning. They understand all of this. The angels take care of everything with him as he is bedridden. He and they share smiles and greetings every day. They talk and laugh together. Caregivers feed, bathe, position and basically take care of all needs for my husband. The caregivers have given me the opportunity to take care of household work, run errands, and have some downtime to rest or see friends. The Visiting Angels of Lewisburg administrative staff keep me informed of my schedule, check-in regularly to see if everything is working out okay, and truly care about how we are doing.
