What to Expect
We begin by reviewing your needs through discussions with involved family members; when necessary we consult with the physician(s) of the care recipient, social workers, hospitals, hospice organizations or nursing home staff.
Next, working in conjunction with the family, we develop an individualized program to manage your daily needs. We match your needs to the best possible caregiver, bring them to your home and ask you to participate in the selection process.
After the Angel companion has been placed in your home, we continue our unique system of continued personalized contacts through telephone check-in and home visits. Most important, we continually communicate with the caregiver who is providing care to you.
We are able to provide care from 2 - 24 hours a day, 1 - 7 days a week with full back-up coverage. And of course, we are insured and bonded.
Our Services Include:
- Personal Care - Assistance with dignity for everyday activities like bathing, grooming and dressing.
- Companionship - Whether it's reading, playing games, or enjoying a meal together.
- Light Housekeeping - Tasks that used to be routine, like making a bed or sweeping can now be a challenge.
- Medication Reminders - We make sure clients take the correct medications at the right time.
- Walking Assistance - Falls are a threat to the safety and independence of elderly persons, and they need to be prevented.
- Respite for Family Members - Caring for loved ones can be a full-time job, so let us free up some time.
- Transportation - We help our clients get where they need to be, like doctor's appointments, outings and religious services.
- Meal preparation - Our trained caregivers encourage a healthy diet and help to ensure proper nutrition.
- Shopping/errands - Going to the grocery store, bank or picking up a prescription. We can do these tasks with or for the client.
