Visiting Angels of the South Shore is one of the few organizations accredited statewide by the Home Care Alliance of Massachusetts. To become accredited the organization has to meet strict quality criteria that few are able to achieve. Having the HCA Accreditation ensures you are associated with a professional and highly regarded home care organization that meets these stringent requirements for quality and integrity.
The Home Care Alliance of Massachusetts is a non-profit trade association that has promoted home care as an integral part of the health care delivery system for over forty years. Our mission is to "unite people and organizations to advance community health through care and services in the home."
As of October 2010, the Alliance has more than 170 Agency Members from all corners of Massachusetts, as well as dozens of Allied and Individual Members. Membership is voluntary – the Alliance is not a government entity – but provides essential resources to our members to help stay informed and thrive.
