Mike and Shannon Garfunkel were both raised
in Southwest Ohio and have remained close to their roots. Both
coming from families with a strong belief in family values,
they chose to stay close to home to raise their two children and
to be near to their extended family.
In
2001, after 15 years, Mike decided his love of the investment business had
waned and he needed to find a new profession which would be more fulfilling
emotionally. “I didn’t want just any job, but one which I knew I could
offer a service
that made a real difference in peoples’ lives! I wanted to offer a service
where quality really mattered.”
Visiting Angels was everything Mike and Shannon hoped for in a business and

Shannon and Mike, directors/owners of Visiting Angels, have the philosophy
