Katrina Morciglio - Client Care Scheduler

Katrina has joined the Visiting Angels team as Care Scheduler. Her primary role is making sure that all of our care recipients have a caregiver when they need one – scheduling, scheduling and more scheduling.   At Visiting Angels, it is a matchmaking process - not an electronic  "grab shifts and run" process. We are interested in having a long term working relationship with our caregivers so a good match allows our angels to enjoy their job while ensuring great service to our families. Katrina brings to us much experience from her previous customer service roles.  She loves working with people!  

Originally from New York, she worked as a Peer Visitor and Counselor for Casita Maria Home bound, Inc. This is where she was initially introduced to home care services as she visited the home bound elderly, made follow up calls regarding care, and ensuring the safety of the care recipients.  Administratively, she maintained documentation, coordinated with staff, and monitored caseloads. She also particiapted in many community and fund raising events.

Katrina has excellent computer and verbal and written communication skills.  Her experience from working in a call center demonstrates the importance of this, as well as follow up and customer service.

Katrina has a friendly and warm personality, which is a requirement at Visiting Angels! We think you will find her very easy to work with easy to talk to.   She is a joy to have in the office.

Having family in Georgia, she relocated from New York in 2011.  She loves to spend time with family, enjoys baking and considers herself a "Pinterest Fanatic." Her two dogs, Susie and Leo are very special to her.
