Congratulations to Cindy G. for being an exceptional in home caregiver and providing quality home care with Visiting Angels of Auburn

Cindy just celebrated her 1st Anniversary with Visiting Angels. She had known about Visiting Angels for a while through our Ads. Before Visiting Angels, Cindy was self-employed and did bookkeeping and tax preparation. Cindy became a caregiver because she wanted to be part of an organization that influences people’s lives and helps them stay at home. Cindy heard Debra, our owners’ story, and was impressed with how she turned something negative that happened in her family life into a positive and now helps others do the same.

Cindy discussed the challenges of not being so task-oriented in this type of position. She expressed the importance of slowing down to the client’s pace and paying attention to what they are saying with their words and body language to help anticipate their needs. That way, you can enjoy the people you work with, their spirit and their stories—and most importantly, make them smile.

Cindy is fortunate to be still married to her high school sweetheart!
