Visiting Angels of Auburn Would Like to Thank Elizabeth P. for Being Such an Amazing Caregiver

Elizabeth came to Visiting Angels of Auburn with some experience under belt after working with the Visiting Angels in Cape Cod. She had worked privately when living in the Cape and then started with their agency.

There are numerous things she mentioned liking about working for Visiting Angels: She enjoys knowing that she is helping people to stay in their homes; she has lost her own parents- so it also brings her comfort being able to help the next generation and form a bond with them. In addition, she mentioned that she likes working for the agency because she feels heard and supported.

Like a lot of the empaths that work for us, Elizabeth admittedly works to find that balance of learning and maintaining healthy boundaries with the individuals that she cares for. But the first step is recognizing the importance of this.

When asked for input on what new caregivers should know, Elizabeth said "Don't be afraid to ask questions and know your own limits."

Elizabeth has recently been enjoying her down time with her new puppy Gretta - a Schnauzer & Wirehaired Pointer mix that her and her husband rescued.
