Flexible Services

Services may be arranged as short-term, ongoing, or intermittent,temporary relief (respite care) for the primary family caregiver. Each client is assigned his or her own Client Service Coordinator. In addition, we maintain a 24-hour emergency hotline so that your urgent call receives a live response within 15 minutes from one of our own staff members, not a remote call center.

We also offer regularly scheduled activities and social opportunities for our clients, such as luncheons and seasonal events at our office Annex. The caregiver typically provides transportation to these events.

Flexible Scheduling

We understand that the level of care needed changes from week to week. From a few days of service for surgery recovery, to respite support, to long-term care – we are there for you.

Here are some examples of our range of service levels. Ultimately, you design what is best for you.

  • Hourly care: A schedule that you design. From our minimum three-hour visits to any other quantity of time that makes sense for you.
  • Morning assistance (e.g. 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.): Support during the most difficult time of the day. We can help a client get out of bed, bathed, and dressed; prepare breakfast and lunch; run errands; and tidy up before we leave.
  • All-day assistance: When family members are at work, you can be assured that your loved one is in good hands. We can even call you and let you know how it is going!
  • Primary caregiver respite: Maybe you are the primary caregiver and you simply need to go away for a few days or a week. We can be there for your respite care needs. Your loved one will feel comfortable in familiar surroundings, and we can maintain their routine.
  • 24/7 live-in service: A caregiver can stay for one or more 24-hour periods so that someone is in the home and available to the client at all times. (Eight hours of sleep daily for caregivers is expected.)
  • 24-hour care: Round-the-clock assistance for clients who are up during the night and need active assistance 24 hours a day.
