Visiting Angels of Canton Addresses COVID-19
How Visiting Angels of Canton is Addressing COVID-19
During these uncertain times, Visiting Angels of Canton continues to follow the guidelines the CDC has recommended in order to protect our clients, their families, and our care professionals. Visiting Angels has always taken safety very seriously which is why we ensure that our care professionals are supplied with gloves, Clorox wipes, paper towels, and masks. In response to the outbreak, Visiting Angels of Canton has taken additional measures to ensure that our community will remain safe.
In addition to our regular safety procedures, all Visiting Angels care professionals are required to:
- Record their temperature one hour before their shift and report it to our office. This will then be documented and kept in their profile.
- Use hand sanitizer before entering the home, followed by washing their hands after entering the home, then dry their hands with a clean paper towel, and finally use hand sanitizer once again.
- Use gloves during any personal interaction or personal care with our clients.
- Wear masks throughout the entirety of the care professional’s shift.
- Record the temperatures of our clients which will then be reported to our office to be kept on record.
Visiting Angels of Canton finds nothing more important than the safety of our clients and our care professionals. We would like to personally thank all of you for your cooperation during these unprecedented times. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us today.
