Important Information Regarding How Visiting Angels Central Coast is Handling the COVID-19 Situation

Thank you for your interest in Visiting Angels Central Coast.

Please be aware that our team is closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and keeping our entire team – from our caregivers to our office staff – updated on a daily basis about the virus and what we can do to keep our employees and clients safe and healthy. We will continue to review our prevention and control polices as the circumstances change over time and make sure we’re following current recommendations from the World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control.

The state of California has recently issued a Shelter in Place order as a measure to combat the spread of COVID-19. As home care providers are considered Healthcare Support Service Providers and therefore classified as an essential business, we will remain open. Our caregivers will continue to provide part-time and ongoing care to the seniors in our community 24 hours a day.

Home care is especially beneficial during these circumstances. It is a safe option for seniors and for those at risk because it allows them to receive one-on-one care and attention from a caregiver they know and trust. At Visiting Angels Central Coast, we are committed to supporting our entire community, from the caregivers and office staff on our team to the seniors and families we work with.

Our caregivers can assist your loved one with taking care of their personal hygiene, preparing meals, light housekeeping, essential transportation to the grocery store and pharmacy and so much more. We can also provide companionship so your loved one doesn’t feel isolated during the Shelter in Place directive.

Please reach out to our Scotts Valley or Marina office if you have any questions. We will maintain regular business hours, as well as assisting after-hours calls.
