Visiting Angels, the nation’s leading provider of in-home senior care, announces Veron Regis as one of the 10 semi-finalists for its prestigious National Caregiver of the Year award. 

Veron was born to be a caregiver. She has been working with seniors since 1998, the last 12 years of which were spent with Visiting Angels Fayetteville, GA. She’s dedicated more than 25,000 hours to helping seniors live safely and comfortably at home. Veron exudes happiness and warmth, taking pride in her work.

In 2013, Veron began caring for a couple, first the husband after a stroke and then his wife. Through her confidence and kindness, she quickly earned their trust. While the husband passed away six years ago, she continues to care for the wife and has truly become a member of their family.

The Visiting Angels National Caregiver of the Year Award celebrates the extraordinary contributions of caregivers who provide exceptional care to senior clients and their families. The 10 semi-finalists were selected from nominations nationwide, honoring caregivers who embody Visiting Angels’ caring values, demonstrate professionalism in their work, and show a commitment to improving the lives of seniors and their families.

The winner of the 2025 Caregiver of the Year award will be announced at the Visiting Angels annual conference in June. The grand prize recipient will receive $10,000, and two finalists will each receive $5,000.
