Visiting Angels is offering FREE confidential Memory Screenings in October. A Memory Screening is a simple and safe "Healthy Brain Check-Up" that test memory and other thinking skills. Please call 301-355-6578 to schedule an appointment. No Walk-ins.You can have a memory screening at either location:

Fire Safety & Injury Prevention 2019

On 2/19/19, Visiting Angels sponsored a senior citizen fire safety presentation at the Benjamin Gaither Senior Center in Gaithersburg, MD.

Do you remember the previous national fire safety campaigns: “Only YOU Can Prevent Forest Fires” and “STOP, DROP and ROLL”?

The newest fire safety campaign is “Close Before You Doze.” This video explains why closing bedroom doors while you are sleeping can dramatically increase your chances of surviving a fire.
