COVID-19 Update

With fears of the COVID-19 virus running through the community, our mission remains the same and our commitment is unwavering.  Central to Visiting Angels Corporate Mission Statement is the core belief “restoring hope through the assistance of healing the emotional, spiritual and physical well-being of the individual.” Our corporate mission has never met a greater test than at this time.

We here at Visiting Angels of Hoschton continue to provide care for our clients and respite care for our families that they have come to expect.  The professional Caregivers on our team are skilled in universal health precautions when interacting with and caring for our clients.  We have taken extra steps to provide reinforcement to the importance of these techniques.

Visiting Angels has submitted various informational items to include CDC guidelines on helping to slow the spread of the virus, additional training, and resources to answer questions regarding the situation.

Although we have had some clients decide against care for the short term, the vast majority of our clients continue to utilize our agency as a resource.  We have the privilege of ensuring a sense of comfort, stability and a friendly face during these times of uncertainty.

Another foundational phrase of our Corporate Mission states that “central to our mission is restoring hope and fostering psychosocial and physical healing through relationship building.” The relationships we have built with our clients and their families, as well as our caregiver team, will empower us all to fulfill our mission.  We will continue to “Care for Our Community and Change Lives”, for our Caregiver and Client Families through these uncertain times.

Each Visiting Angels agency is a franchise that is independently owned and operated. The Franchisor, Living Assistance Services Inc., does not control or manage the day to day business operations of any Visiting Angels franchised agency.
