In-Home Caregiver of the Month: Heather G.

Visiting Angels In-Home Caregiver touch lives in Gilford, NH, and the Surrounding Communities.

Heather started at Visiting Angels in March of this year. She slowly worked her way in and grew to love it. She has grown in her role as a caregiver. Before coming to Visiting Angels, she was a fitness instructor and a lunch lady in the Gilmanton School. She also helped out with her grandson when he was born. She came to Visiting Angels because she had heard fantastic things about us. But in Florida, Visiting Angels took care of her grandparents, and her family could not say enough nice things. She wanted to check it out herself and has fallen in love with it.

When asked what her favorite part of being a caregiver is, she loves helping people when families can’t be there. She loves the smiles, Stories, and knowing she made a difference each day. But the job has a challenge too. No matter what you do and how far she goes above and beyond, you can’t please everyone. But the good thing is they don’t come around that often.

A fun fact about Heather a few years back, she went to Spooky World New England and met Alice Cooper.
