When you sign up for our services at Visiting Angels of Lubbock your loved one will be matched with one of our many experienced caregivers. We use a multi-step process to talk to and review all potential caregivers that want to join our team. To be a Visiting Angels of Lubbock caregiver, a candidate must have a minimum of two years providing elder care services as well as display a passion for providing care with dignity and respect; after being chosen to join our team, caregivers must complete a background check. We also verify all previous employment to ensure that our caregivers truly have previous experience with being a companion for seniors needing care. Additional to companion care training for employees, we also offer trainings for specific types of elder care services, such as memory related disorders. Whichever companion caregiver you choose to assist your loved one will be equipped with the skills they need to care for a wide range of needs and to be a companion for seniors.
Within the Lubbock area the most common services we provide are helping run errands, shopping, walks, assistance getting to and from doctor visits, light housekeeping, and meal preparation. You can customize any service to cover any of your loved ones needs. We make our plans to where they work with your schedule; at Visiting Angels of Lubbock, we do whatever it takes to make you and your loved one comfortable in their care and schedule.
