Our Mission Statement:
Visiting Angels of the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula employs immense resources to deliver the best posible care to clients in the comfort of their own home or facility.Central to our mission is restoring hope and independence through the assistance of healing the emotional. Spiritual and physical well-being of the individual. We accomplish this trough relationship building and effective education and communication with clients, families, empolyees and professional healthcare providers.
How do we accomplish this?
- ALL that we offer you is based on a formalized, person-centered approach. This approach is best described during the initial consultation so I encourage you to schedule that informative meeting. You will gain a wealth of information that will benefit you whether or not you choose to utilize our services.
- From 2013 to 2018, Visiting Angel’s clients voted to award us the prestigious HomeCare Pulse national ‘Provider of Choice’ Award. HomeCare Pulse is the industry’sleading firm conducting quality satisfaction research. Each month, our clients are surveyed; the complied results are compared against other homecare agencies regionally and nationally. All of our clients are surveyed at least once a year.
- Our Hiring Practices are extensive. All employees undergo multiple interviews, criminal backgrond and drug screening. Employees are held to the highest quality standards.
- Care Managers and Registered Nurses routinely visit clients to assure that their needs are being met. In today’s busy world, individual needs are often reduced to a number, but Visiting Angels seeks to build that often forgotten personal touch by striving to have the right caregiver matched to the client’s physical and character wishes. Our approach is a ‘Person-Centered’ one.
- Visiting Angels invests in state-of-the-art scheduling systems. Our clients can rest assured that caregivers report to work on-time while understanding the personalized plan of care developed jointly by the client, their family and our nursing staff.
- Family members have online access to our Family Room where they can view daily care logs,and schedules. This provides peace of mind for loved ones.Visiting Angels is a Licensed Home Care Provider by Virginia’s Department of Health.
