Business Growth Prompts Visiting Angels of the Berkshires Relocation and Accommodates Further Enhancements to their Caregiver Training Program

Visiting Angels of Berkshire County formally announces its relocation. Previously located at 374 South Street, the senior home care services company is now located at 197 South Street, Bldg A. The move, which was less than a half-mile down the road, occurred on December 1st.

Visiting Angels provides compassionate and competent care for seniors needing assistance. With the help of the exceptional caregivers employed by the company, many seniors are able to remain safely and independently in the comfort of their own home. The Pittsfield office serves a wide territory, including all of Berkshire County and surrounding communities in the western portion of Hampden, Hampshire & Franklin Counties. In addition to the office located on 197 South Street, Visiting Angels has office space in Franklin County, at 5 State Street, 3rd Floor, Shelburne Falls MA, 01370.

Director and owner, Richard Messer, looks forward to settling into the new space and hosting an open house celebration for their current caregivers next week.

The relocation offers more space and more parking for future training opportunities. Messer plans to create a training room fitted with a hospital bed in order to complement their current caregiver training program, titled “In-the Know.” The comprehensive caregiver training is available to caregivers online with certificates of completion. The in-house training will provide a hands-on approach for caregivers, allowing them to further develop their caregiving skills. This focused training is in addition to the corporate caregiver training that all caregivers across the corporate company have available to them.

Messer shares, “We are looking to help our caregivers grow their knowledge base and expertise.”

While there is no date set for a client open house, Messer invites clients, their families, and other interested seniors to drop by to say hello. There is usually someone in the office from 9 am to 5 pm, but feel free to call ahead at 413-344-9281.
