As the world continues to battle the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic

Many retailers and individuals are switching over to a delivery system instead of the traditional shopping style. Some large retailers, such as Amazon, have been perfecting online shopping for over a decade and now those benefits will help pay off for you and your loved ones!

Not only is Amazon an online retailer with millions of products, they are also one of the most trusted retailers across the nation! They offer products such as cleaning supplies, hygiene products, home items, and even some grocery products. Although purchasing groceries from Amazon.com may not be ideal, a local supermarket, Stop & Shop offers delivery service on many of their in-store grocery products including vegetables, meats, seafood, canned products and more!

We ask that our clients' family or close friends assist their loved one in order products online instead of shopping at traditional retail stores. Helping your loved one will not only keep them safe during these times but will also allow you to search for deals and sales from several different online retailers!

Our group of trained Caregivers will be glad to assist seniors and older adults with unpacking, organizing and cleaning the products that get delivered to their home. We even encourage you to plan the delivery (if possible) while a Caregiver is present at the house. This will help take away any anxieties or doubt about having a delivery made while home alone. We have also learned that all cardboard boxes must be left quarantined for 48 hours and for plastic containers, 72 hours. If you cannot wait that amount of time for your products, spraying down the containers in bleach will help to clean the surface of any potential germs or viruses!
