The new Joy for All companions were introduced to the office employees last week during the weekly staff meeting. Visiting Angels is beginning a new program called Angel Paws. They will utilize two realistic kitties and a very cute golden retriever puppy to visit our clients. The puppy has been named Duncan by the office staff and the kitties names will be decided by the caregivers. These new members of the Visiting Angels’ workforce have already had a lasting impact on their caregivers and office staff. Clearly, they were an instant hit! All the employees were admiring the new company pets.

These “no care” pets will certainly improve the lives of Visiting Angels’ elderly clients. Joy for All is specifically designed for individuals with all forms of dementia and alzheimers. These new additions to the team will help reduce agitation, social isolation, and expressions of sadness amongst their senior citizens.
