"As I am sure you heard by now that Mom passed yesterday morning. I put at the top of my to-do list to drop you a note. 
To say the least,  these last 6 months rank up there with some of the worst experiences I have ever had. But because of Angelica, in addition to be amazing with Mom, she watched out for my sister and I as well.  I fully admit there were times I went in there a mess and she got me re-focused. If it weren’t for Angelica, my sister and I are firmly convinced that Mom would not have lasted as long as she did.  The only way to describe it is Angelica showed such a high level of care and compassion that is so very, very appreciated. And quite frankly I never experienced such a high level of care ever.  In all the years of being a nurse, I will definitely say Angelica is the absolute best I have ever worked with. From the minute she walked in the door until the minute she left shift, she was laser-focused on Mom and god forbid if anyone got in her when it came to her care.  Her standard of care was sky-high when she started with Mom. I didn’t think it was possible for her to raise her standard of care even higher but she did when Mom went on Hospice.
I also wanted to say thank you for your flexibility.  Getting the invoices to my sister in the way you worked it out was huge. "

"Our adult child is a stay at home mom; she and her husband have several young children.  She also has frequent seizures.  Our nightmare was "what if she has a seizure when she's home with the kids"?  I searched for home care that wasn't oriented toward elder care or medical care - we needed someone to be there for emergencies, help with errands and driving to appointments, meet the school bus, and so forth.  We heard of Visiting Angels, called and soon thereafter met with Richard; he asked me to describe what kind of person I was looking for, and I said "Mary Poppins!"  He smiled, and a few days later, Mary Poppins showed up and has been there for a few months now.  Several times, our daughter had seizures in the street in front of her house; once, she and the toddler were waiting for the school bus to bring the school-age kids home, and as the school bus drove up the driver spotted her lying in the street having a seizure, with the toddler sitting with her.  Our very own "Mary Poppins" visiting angel was there, calling 911, waving vehicles to stop, herding the kids to safety, and covering her client in the cold weather.  This has happened several times.  Besides this she is cheerful, a great companion, helps out with whatever is needed, and the bottom line is that WE DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT "WHAT IF" !  Our own Mary Poppins Angel has given us all peace of mind !"
