This rigorous screening program is designed to provide customized care and lends to maximize your families peace of mind. Typically and whenever possible, you and your family will have every opportunity to conduct a personal interview any caregiver we refer to you. This is done in advance of our services commencement.

Our agency requires higher levels of minimum experience and we expect more form our caregiver team.
At Visiting Angels, we don’t believe in “on the job training”. We recruit caregivers who have strong home care experience and who demonstrate the compassion your needs demand. All of our Angel Caregivers hold current state certifications. Our team also receives ongoing care coaching and are exposed to valuable resources to enhance their abilities. Our caregivers have the knowledge and experience to provide comprehensive assistance with various personal care needs including assistance with personal hygiene.
The local Visiting Angels office, located in Hoschton GA, performs a multiple step process for the hiring the most dedicated and qualified professionals. We perform multiple interviews with each prospective caregiver prior to hiring them. Our agency also conducts a thorough background check looking back seven years. Our check reviews every county and state where residence had been established. We also run a federal criminal background check which includes a check of the abuse registries - sexual, child and elder. We are sure to obtain references on prospective caregivers from reliable sources across a number of sources (previous clients, agencies, healthcare institutions, certification training schools, volunteer organizations, etc.). All this happens BEFORE a caregiver is introduce to any of our clients.
