Our hiring process is time-consuming and multi-layered. Some of the ways we ensure that our caregivers are up to the job include:
- All our Caregivers are Licensed with the NJ Board of Nursing as Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA’s).
- All CHHA’s are required to be fingerprinted.
- All new hires are subjected to a thorough criminal background check. We use a company founded by US Military Veterans to conduct our background checks.
- All candidates must pass a written examination, along with a lengthy skills assessment, conducted by one of our staff Registered Nurse Supervisors.
- Professional references are thoroughly vetted.
- An interview process that includes discussions with each office staff member, owners, and an RN
- Areas of expertise, preferences, and weaknesses are recorded and addressed, in order to effectively match the right Caregiver with your loved one.
- Caregivers without experience caring for a certain type of client need are offered additional training in our on-site Training area, along with mandatory “shadowing” with current, experienced Caregivers.
