In Memphis, we know how to treat veterans. Visiting Angels of Memphis is becoming a preferred provider for vets through the VA, and it is an honor for us to offer in-home caregiving services to our clients who served.

Visiting Angels of Memphis is proud to provide veterans and their spouses with in-home care services that allow them to age in place for as long as possible.

Using Veterans Benefits for Your VA Care Provider

Did you know that there are many veterans benefits you may be able to use for you or your spouse to pay for things like in-home care? 

Here are some of the benefits that you may receive that could help you cover the costs associated with veterans home care services, such as those provided by Visiting Angels of Memphis. 

• Aid and Attendance Allowance - this may apply when you have a non-service related disablitly that requires aid and attendance from a caregiver.
• A service-related compensation increase - if you are a homebound vet, you may qualify for a service-related compensation increase. 
• War-specific benefits - their are certain benefits available for vets who served in-country in places like Vietnam or the Gulf War. 
• Veterans Pension and Surivors Pension Benefits Programs - this can let you qualify for up to 60 hours a month of care for a veteran and their spouse or 50 hours a month for a single vet.
