When someone is nearing the end of their life, the instinct of their family is to be around them to help. But help looks different depending on who's providing it. Hospice handles pain management via medications. That's their role, and it's an important one. Our role is everything else, like the daily physical care, the household chores, the errands and the overnight shifts so family members can sleep.

Hospice and home care are not the same thing, and most families benefit from having both. If your loved one is already in hospice, we work alongside them. If they're not, we can still provide our non-medical home care services.

In-Home Care Makes Every Moment More Meaningful

When a family member is serving as a primary caregiver, that's mostly what they are. The bathing, the dressing, the meal preparation, the medication reminders, the housekeeping. It takes everything and leaves very little room to just be present with someone who is dying.

Our caregivers step in and handle that work. We help with bathing and personal hygiene, getting a person dressed if they want, preparing meals, light housekeeping, laundry, and grocery runs.

We provide companionship when family can't be there and overnight care when someone needs to stay through the night. We sit with our clients. We help them move around the house safely. We make sure they're eating and drinking when they can.

When your family doesn't have to manage all of this yourselves, you’ll get the time back to have real conversations or simply sit beside them. That's what our End-of-life care is actually for.
