Quality Care for Veterans
Our caregivers consider it a privilege to serve veterans in our community. If you are living with a service-related disability, dementia, stroke, or another chronic illness, we can help you live independently at home.
Veterans who served in the Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, Air Force, Army, or National Guard, may qualify to receive financial assistance from the VA to pay for in-home care. This assistance is available through the Aid and Attendance program, Community Care Network, and VA Home Care programs. Spouses of veterans may also qualify for help. Our rigorous screening process includes local, state, and federal background checks, as well as a drug screening, and driver’s license review. Visiting Angels signature Ready-Set-Go Home program was created to help anyone who has had a recent hospitalization or illness recover at home. Our caregivers can help with tasks that are too difficult at the moment due to a recent illness or injury. Examples include showering, cleaning the kitchen and bathroom, and driving to doctor’s appointments. They can also provide companionship and social support to help lift your spirits while you are recovering.
Flexible Care
Visiting Angels Indianapolis provides flexible care to meet your needs. If you are a family caregiver, you may need respite care to help out when you aren’t able to care for your loved one. We can help. If you need 24-hour care for your loved one with dementia, we are the perfect solution for you.
