About Visiting Angels
Don Deutsch
Working in healthcare for over 24 years, Don Deutsch has passion and experience in helping others and serving the community. Don has a bachelor degree form Purdue and an MBA from the University of Indianapolis. Getting his start at Methodist Hospital, Don was in Methodist’s marketing department helping start new programs to bring health awareness to the community such as the Communication Center providing physician referral and a physician answering service, the “Health Matters”, and “Fit and Female” television segments. In 1995 after being promoted to Clarian Health’s Director of Health Promotions and Community Relations position Don developed and created a new centralized department that was able to increase the number of grants and funding to programs that increased health awareness throughout the community. Don’s department had Clarian involved in over 100 events and programs in the community including the Indiana Black and Minority Health Fair, Indiana State Fair, and the 500 Festival Kids Day. Don also chaired the Clarian Corporate Contributions Committee which donated funds to community events, and partnership development. As one of the owners of Visiting Angels Indy south, Don is able to continue his passion and commitment towards assisting others, by providing quality care to individuals seeking Home Care in the community.
