About Us

Visiting Angels of Liberty Lake is proudly owned by a Veteran who understands the unique needs and sacrifices of those who have served. That's why we are so passionate about giving back to our Veteran community! We are committed to working with the Department of Veterans Affairs to provide in-home care at no out-of-pocket cost to eligible Veterans. 

About the Owner

Visiting Angels of Liberty Lake is owned by Daniel Lakin, a proud Army Veteran who served between 1984 and 1992. Daniel served in both the US Army Infantry and National Guard. During his military career, he was stationed in both Southern Oregon and Fort Ord, California. 

Afterward, he used his Veteran's Education Assistance Program Funds (VEAP) benefits to get a Bachelor's Degree in Justice Science from Arizona State University. After serving for many years in law enforcement, Daniel returned to Afghanistan as a contractor for 1.5 years. When he returned home in 2019, he worked with his family to develop a business that could provide care and support to Veterans, their loved ones, and the community as a whole.

How We Work with the VA

Due to our proud military history, Visiting Angels of Liberty Lake has prioritized Veteran care. We are pleased to work directly with the Department of Veteran's Affairs as a Community Care Provider.

This designation is important because it allows us to provide in-home supportive care for our nation's heroes at no out-of-pocket cost to them. Eligible Veterans can have their Visiting Angels service completely covered by their VA benefits!
