Visiting Angels’ non-medical palliative care is basically ongoing support from our caregivers who visit people that may be living with chronic illnesses. It is not the same as hospice. Hospice is different in that it starts when curative treatment ends and life expectancy is limited. Palliative care can start at any point after a diagnosis, even while treatment is still underway. There is no timeline requirement.
