Tim McAloon, Executive Director
Tim and his brother Dan purchased Visiting Angels of Matawan in 2018 after careful consideration of the home care landscape, and agree it was the most rewarding professional decision of their lives. While Dan acts as company CFO, Tim operates the business on a daily basis. He actively oversees all aspects of the company, including client relationships and caregiver hiring. Tim cultivates relationships with area healthcare, rehabilitation, and assisted living facilities, offering the company’s services to soon-to-be discharged patients, as well as to residents inside assisted living facilities. Service to U.S. Military Veterans is an integral part of the company’s philosophy.
Tim is responsible for opening the area’s most successful CHHA licensing school (Angel Caregiver Academy) during the time of Covid, when home health aides were in great demand and when families most feared having a loved one inside a facility. This decision has added scores of newly licensed CHHA’s to the local community, and the school’s growing list of well-trained, licensed graduates continues to be a resource for families in need.
Tim is active in the local community as a member of the Matawan Chamber of Commerce, the Summit NJ Benevolent and Protective Order of The Elks, and as a supporter of local causes including the Matawan Memorial Day Parade and Matawan Day. Tim resides in Morris County with his wife Sharon and their four children.
Jackie Zimmerman, Director of Administration
Jackie has been a member of the Visiting Angels of Matawan team since 2006. She joined Visiting Angels after researching home care options for her own mother who was struggling with dementia. Jackie has a history of caring for others, starting with the companionship care of her sister, after a life-changing accident.
As Director of Administration, Jackie’s responsibilities include oversight of the Visiting Angels of Matawan CHHA licensing school, Angel Caregiver Academy. Jackie also leads the effort to orient and train new caregiver employees, administers the company’s regulatory and audit compliance requirements, and takes part in frequent client communication. Jackie says her favorite part of the job is helping new home health aides get started on their way to making a real difference in the lives of others in our community.
Jackie resides in Monmouth County and has two grown children who are both married, with her first grandchild on the way.
Kim Trzanowski, Director of Operations
Kim has worked in the healthcare/administrative field since the early 2000’s, arriving at Visiting Angels of Matawan in 2010. As Director of Operations, Kim wears many hats. Her primary responsibility is staffing client homecare schedules, with a focus on matching the skills and experience of a Visiting Angels caregiver with the schedule and needs of a particular client. Kim maintains close relationships with our growing pool of CHHA caregivers while juggling her responsibilities for employee payroll and client billing.
Away from her work at Visiting Angels, Kim is a devoted wife, mother of two wonderful young men. She’s also an avid cat lover and has rescued 4, who are now beloved family pets. Kim enjoys time with her family and friends, and looks forward to outdoor adventures, visiting new places both inside and outside of NJ. Road trip!
Gladys Tirado, HR & Recruiting Coordinator
Gladys has been with Visiting Angels of Matawan since 2021. Her extensive background in the fields of mental health, medical supplies, hospice, and nursing infusion has prepared Gladys for her current position as HR and Recruiting Coordinator. Gladys is the first contact to speak with prospective Home Health Aides and guide them through our hiring and CHHA licensing processes. She is a welcoming presence that new candidates need, offering encouragement, hands-on assistance with regulatory requirements, and the occasional home-baked cupcake along the way. Gladys was raised in Perth Amboy and attended Middlesex County College. She has been a resident of Matawan for over 30 years. Gladys loves dogs, especially German Shepherds, and is very knowledgeable about them. Gladys is also bilingual in Spanish and English.
Gina Duarte-Wiley, Community & Client Care Liaison
Gina is the newest member of the Visiting Angels team, joining the office staff in October of 2022. Gina has a BA in Social Work from Rutgers University as well as a certificate in Paralegal Studies, and is a NJ State Notary. Gina comes to Visiting Angels from the Monmouth County Division of Social Services, where she addressed and served the needs of the residents of Monmouth County.
Gina is a member of the Matawan Township Board of Recreation, as well as a member of the Matawan Historical Society. Gina is an active member of the Matawan community, serving in many voluntary activities. As our Community and Client Care Liaison, Gina enjoys her personal interactions with Visiting Angels of Matawan clients and Caregivers. Gina is often the first voice a caller hears when contacting Visiting Angels of Matawan and is a welcoming ambassador for the company.
Although she is a native New Yorker, Gina has been a resident of the Aberdeen and Matawan area for over 30 years. She has 2 grown sons and a teenage daughter.
