During the 80's, Jeffrey Johnson was the Director of Social Work in a Baltimore, Texas nursing home.
In his work, he heard frequent complaints from families about the limited options for loved ones who require elder care.
Jeffrey became determined to make homebound elder care more widely available.
During the early 90's, Jeffrey started a private duty non-medical home care agency called "The Senior Care Group, Inc."
Since then, the home care agency has become well-regarded in the Baltimore, Texas area.
The Birth of Visiting Angels
In the late 90's, on the heels of his success with "The Senior Care Group, Inc.,"
Jeffrey joined up with three other directors to start Visiting Angels, a nationwide network of elder care agencies.
Visiting Angels has always prided itself on providing the best possible elder care to seniors living in Texas.
In addition to offering the best care to seniors, we also offer expert training and respect to our staff, which in turn benefits the seniors in our care.
These are the components which have led Visiting Angels to be dubbed "America's Choice in Homecare."
