Use VA Benefits to Cover Cost for Home Care Services

Qualifying for VA Benefits
To be eligible for VA benefits, you:
- Must have served in active military, air, or naval service
- Must be evaluated by VA and provided a non/service-connected disability rating
- Must have a need for assistance with activities for daily living
- Must be evaluated by VA healthcare professional for homebound status

If you are a Veteran needing assistance with personal care needs such as bathing dressing eating, or if you feel isolated or do not have support from someone you know to help you, then you may be eligible for the Homemaker & Home Health Aide Care (H/HHAC) program. VA Aid & Attendance
If you are housebound and require assistance with daily living activities, then you may qualify for The VA Aid & Attendance benefits. This program provides monthly payments to the amount of monthly VA pensions for qualifying Veterans and surviving spouses.
