Visiting Angels of Canton is owned by Ohio native, Scott Ball, who also owns Visiting Angels of Portage County in Ravenna, OH. Between Scott’s time as an existing Visiting Angels franchise owner and our team’s decades of experience caring for local older adults, we know what matters most to families in our community – and we’re ready to help. Our caregivers aren’t just professionals – they’re neighbors, too. As local residents, they know the senior-friendly spots and services that make Stark County feel like home.

Scott Ball was raised on a farm in rural Ohio. He attended a small Division 3 high school and enjoyed the extracurriculars of basketball, soccer, football, and track. Academics were also important to him. He went to college to pursue a degree in Electrical Engineering. His professional career has been in technology and he spent time at Microsoft and Oracle as well as living in the city of Seattle for 8 years. However, in 2021 he decided to purchase the Visiting Angels office in Ravenna so that he could pursue his passion of serving his local community. He appreciates his time in Seattle, but enjoys being back in Ohio near his family, friends, and the Stark County community.
