Visiting Angels of Northern Idaho, a Veteran Owned Home Care Agency

Visiting Angels of Coeur d'Alene and Northern Idaho is a Veteran-owned business committed to honoring our Nation's Heroes.

Local owner, Daniel Lakin, is a proud Veteran who served in the U.S. Army Infantry (stationed in Ft. Ord, California) and National Guard (stationed in Southern Oregon) from 1984 to 1992. Daniel used his Veteran's Educational Assistance Program funds (VEAP) to obtain his Bachelor's Degree in Justice Studies from Arizona State University. After a long career in law enforcement, Daniel returned to the military field as a Contractor in Afghanistan for 1.5 years, returning home in 2019. He and his family are now running the business together, providing care and support to Veterans, their families, and the community. 

Visiting Angels of Coeur d'Alene is honored to partner with the Veteran's Administration as a Community Care Provider for in-home supportive care for our Nation's Veterans who need extra help. We are proud to embrace the core values of service, integrity, and dedication that our Veterans embody.
