Whatever your specific needs are, we want to be there for you.

Our Staff

Catherine Rousseau
Visiting Angels of Central NC has been owned and operated by Catherine since December, 2003. She discovered a need for quality and dependable home care after a personal experience trying to navigate those challenges in the Chapel Hill area. She had recently “retired” from operating an IT company for over 20 years. After carefully screening every home care franchise, she chose Visiting Angels because of their high standards, exceptional support and shared philosophy of how to deliver the best care to their clients.
Rashida Fearrington
Rashida came to us in April, 2007 as a home health aide working with many of our hospice clients. In September, 2008, she joined our office staff as scheduler and care coordinator. She has twenty years of experience in the field of elder care. Ten of these years were at an Assisted Living facility, where she became shift supervisor and performed medication management. She has also served short stints as activities and transportation director. Her current position of care coordinator consists of facilitating communication between clients, caregivers and staff by developing, monitoring, and scheduling integrative care.

Our Nurses

Judy McCurdy
Judy has been our nurse supervisor since August, 2008. She has been an RN for over 40 years and has a wide range of experience including hospice care. In addition to supervising our aides, Judy continues to provide hands-on care for a number of our clients. When she is not working with Visiting Angels, Judy can be found playing sports with her grandson or volunteering.
Pamela Perry
Pamela has worked with Visiting Angels since October 2017. She graduated from UNC at Chapel Hill School of Nursing and retired from Duke University Medical Center in 2016. Pam has over 35 years of nursing experience in various settings. She provided bedside nursing at acute care facilities, rehabilitation centers and convalescent centers. Pam has worked in home health and in hospice care. In addition, she has held positions in Case Management, Utilization Review, and Clinical Research. Pam enjoys traveling, reading and being a member of her book club for the last 10 years, church activities and enjoying numerous activities with her large nucleus and extended family.
