Certified Home Health Aide Training Program and CNA to CHHA Program
Obtain your Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license through our New Jersey licensed CHHA Training Program
New online training dates start monthly, as well as CNA to CHHA bridge training.
(Note: You must have an active CNA license to enroll in the Bridge Class, the CNA to CHHA class is a 10-hour on-line course)
Our 4-week, 76-hour training course will consist of:
- 1-hour orientation session (in office)
- 60 hours of on-line training
- 16 hours of in person hands on skills training
- Followed by NJ State Testing
At the end of the first 2 weeks of on-line training, we will have our first 8 hour in person training with our Registered Nurse. At the end of week 4, we will have our 2nd in person training and review for the final New Jersey State exam. The NJ state exam will take place in our classroom.
The cost of our training program, $300.00 in two payments. The first payment at orientation of $150.00 and the second payment on $150.00, at the first in-person training session. If you work 180 hours with our team$200.00 will be refunded
We will assist our students on completing the on line CHHA application with the Board of Nursing. You will be required to pay $80.00 to the board of nursing.
All fees are non-refundable
Please bring the following items to our office on or before the first day of class, as spots are limited:
- Two forms of Identification
- One 2 X 2 size Color Passport photo-actual (CVS, Walgreens, Walmart)
- Birth Certificate
- Marriage Certificate (if your last name has changed)
- Cash, Check, Money Order or Credit Card for $300.00 written out to "Visiting Angels" or we can set up a payment option ($150.00 at orientation the Friday and the other $150.00 at the first in-person training session)
