"Visiting Angels helped with caring for Dad (assisting with his eating) when all family members were going to be out of town for a few days. They came to meet us, Dad and Mom. They assured us that all would be well while we were away and they lived up to that promise. Mom was pleased with the individuals who came to their apartment. We wanted to be able to keep family members in their own home safely—providing environment to allow healing and recovery from surgery for one while ensuring ongoing daily total care needs of the other was met. She is conscientious enough to ask about her when returning to work, just to see how she did on the days she was off. Cindy makes sure my mom has a clean bed to sleep in every night and plenty of food to eat. She baths her and does her nails and always makes sure she does not wonder. Safety is a high priority. Cindy is never late, in fact, she arrives early. My mom and her are friends and that's how it should be. When I tuck my mom in bed at night, I ask her how her day was, she replies "Wonderful!" (You can even have your Visiting Angel spend the night if you would like!...Ours does at times if needed.) Also, we have had other VA's and they did a fine job, so you really cannot go wrong with the Visiting Angels. They pretty much are "heaven sent"!" - Tim T "My mom received excellent care!
