“Our first
experience with Visiting Angels was with the case manager, Debbie who came out
to interview us and ascertain our needs. Debby was very professional and I very
much enjoyed her as a person. Her skills in terms of aligning us with
someone who fits into our household and assisting us with the care of my 92 y/o
[who has aunt mild dementia], has proven to be spot on.
The caregiver assigned to us has been nothing short of phenomenal. She is in
constant motion, cleaning and assisting my 92 y/o aunt. She even danced to the
40's music that my aunt so adores. She's patient, polite and very efficient and
detailed oriented. She has won my aunt over completely which came as a huge
relief because my aunt was very anxiety ridden at the thought of a stranger
being here with her in my absence. I have had the task of caring for her around
the clock and knowing there is someone coming who is reliable, personable and
capable has made all the difference. As with any organization, there can be
individuals who give the company a bad reputation and it's important to let
someone know so they can deal with that. I have had bad experiences with other
caregivers in the past as well, but Tacoma Visiting Angels has truly been
heaven sent and in our case I could not recommend them highly enough.”
