About Visiting Angels in Vancouver

Robert and Amy Loudenback opened Visiting Angels in Vancouver in 2006. A neighboring couple who we are friends with had a Visiting Angels franchise of their own and told them about what a rewarding opportunity it had been. Since Amy already had a background in caregiving, it was a natural next step for our professional careers. Nearly 20 years later, we have established ourselves as one of the oldest and longest-running home care agencies in Vancouver, Washington.

Care from Our Family to Yours in Vancouver

Robert and Amy are both very hands-on in ways that are uncommon for a home care agency of our size. Robert handles all billing personally. If you have a question about an invoice, you can reach him directly, not a billing department or a third-party service of any kind. Meanwhile, Amy oversees all personnel. Caregiver hiring, scheduling, staffing concerns are handled in-house, by us!

A Letter from the Owners Robert & Amy Loudenback Owners, Visiting Angels of Southwest Washington   When we first opened our doors twenty years ago, we were so excited to serve seniors, to be business owners, and to work together to build something special for our family and our community. Visiting Angels of Southwest Washington has helped thousands of seniors remain independent in their homes, allowed families to focus on making memories, and provided meaningful employment for our caregiving team. We value our work with area hospice agencies and have made end-of-life care a priority for our office. Hospice has played an important role in our own lives, and we hope this partnership continues to flourish. To own and operate a business is one thing, but to do so within an industry focused on families and caring for loved ones has been something really special. Washington state has been our home for over fifty years. We were both born and raised right here in the Pacific Northwest, and we are thankful we get to continue to live and work in such a beautiful place. Our Caregiving Team

We are a large home care agency with both female and male caregivers available to visit clients in Vancouver, Longview and neighboring communities. We have a strong retention rate, in fact some of our caregivers have been with our agency since the early years!

All of our professional caregivers are CNAs or Washington State-certified Home Care Aides. Since state certification is required, and so is continuing education, we provide courses through Washington State-approved courses. Families have peace of mind knowing the Visiting Angels we send are knowledgeable, trustworthy and experienced.

What 20 Years Looks Like….and Counting

During our tenth year in business, we expanded services by opening a second office in Longview, Washington circa 2016. Our growth was a reflection of the demand for our trustworthy home care services.

In our industry, longevity means something special. While other home care agencies have come and gone, or changed ownership over the years, we’ve been a constant, reliable source for families who need home care. We are very proud of the relationships that our caregivers have built with clients over the years.
