Rob and Amy Loudenback opened Visiting Angels in Vancouver in 2006. It's been our family business since day one, and that hasn't changed. In 2016 we expanded and opened a second office in Longview to serve families in Cowlitz County as well.

Cost of Home Care for Seniors in Vancouver

Home care costs in the Vancouver, Washington area averages between a range of $45 and $55 per hour depending on the agency, the level of care needed, and shift length. You might have a long-term care insurance policy that could contribute to home care costs. Veterans who are eligible for HHA benefits through the VA could fully cover costs.

*Remember that we have no weekly hour requirement. Agencies will usually require a minimum of 12 to 15 hours per week. Our only requirement is that each visit is at least 4 hours. You pay for the visits you schedule, nothing more. For families who only need care once or twice a week, this makes a difference in their monthly costs.

Earlier is better, but we understand that's not always how these situations unfold. For planned care, a two-week lead time gives us a good chance of matching you with a right caregiver. For urgent situations like a post-hospital discharge, we can sometimes fast-track home care.
