Jon Miller

Owner

A West Texas native, Jon graduated in 2007 from Baylor University with a degree in Finance. After two years in the financial sector, Jon joined Visiting Angels in 2009 as Owner/Director. Under his leadership, the company has grown to include multiple offices across the region, delivering compassionate, reliable in-home care to thousands of families. In addition, Jon has served as an elected member of the Franchise Advisory Council for Visiting Angels.

Jon is deeply committed to the communities he serves and to maintaining the highest standards of care and integrity in every aspect of the business.

Jon and his wife Kasy have been married since 2013 and are proud parents to three children: Madden (11), Myla (9), and Sutton (7). The family also includes their beloved mini goldendoodle, Louise. When not working, Jon enjoys golfing and traveling with his family. They are active members of The Bridge Fellowship.

Ashly Soderman

Branch Manager

Ashly joined Visiting Angels in October 2013 as a Scheduling Coordinator and was promoted to Branch Manager in September 2014.

Raised in California in a Marine Corps family, Ashly was brought up with strong values of service, dedication, and resilience. Her passion for home care was inspired by her late great-grandmother, “Mammaw.” Her experience opened her heart to the importance of helping seniors remain in the comfort of their own homes for as long as possible.

Ashly is especially passionate about serving Veterans. Being able to guide them and their families through the benefits they’ve rightfully earned is not only rewarding—it’s an honor.

Outside of work, life is full and busy in the best way. As a mom of four, she jokingly says she runs an unofficial taxi service. She and her husband Marc stay on the go with their kids—Baileigh, Malakai, Gage, and Emmarie—whether it’s cheering from the sidelines at football and baseball games or spending time camping with friends.

Carrie Jaynes

Office Coordinator

Carrie joined Visiting Angels in March of 2022.

Carrie is passionate about connecting with potential clients and helping families understand the care and support available to their loved ones. She truly enjoys building relationships and guiding others through the programs we offer, ensuring they feel confident, supported, and cared for every step of the way. Carrie comes from a proud background rooted in service, with a long family history of veterans and first responders. That legacy has shaped her deep respect and appreciation for those who serve our country and communities. She carries those values into both her personal life and her work, striving to make a meaningful difference every day.

Away from work, her weekends are filled with youth sports, supporting local live music, outdoor adventures, traveling, family dinners, and being the best mimi and papa to their 5 grandchildren. All Glory to God!

Courtney Layton

Scheduling Coordinator

Courtney joined Visiting Angels in September of 2020. Born in the UK and raised in a military family, she moved around quite a bit while her father served in the Air Force. Over the years she lived in Louisiana, Germany, Hawaii, Las Vegas, Virginia, and San Antonio before eventually landing in New Braunfels in 2019—where she’s happily stayed put!

Before joining Visiting Angels, Courtney worked in property management, where she learned how to stay organized, multitask, and communicate with all kinds of personalities. After joining Visiting Angels, she quickly realized she found her passion in this field, helping support and care for seniors. Coming from a military background, serving veterans is especially meaningful to her, and she’s proud to be part of a team that supports those who have given so much.

Outside of work, she has one son who keeps life fun and busy. They love making new memories together. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new places, trying new things, and pretending she doesn’t have a list of things to get done waiting at home.

Brielle Norton

Community Liaison

Brielle was raised in New Braunfels and joined Visiting Angels in 2023 as the Marketing Liaison. She is passionate about helping seniors remain safe and comfortable in their homes while receiving the care they need. Brielle enjoys building relationships within the community and connecting with seniors and their families.

She is actively involved in the Lions Club, Alzheimer’s Association, Chamber of Commerce, and also helps host the Veterans Resource Fair each year. As the granddaughter of two Marine Corps veterans, Brielle has a special passion for working closely with veterans and giving back to those who served our country.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her dog, Cinnamon, and being outdoors hunting.
