Personal Care

Personal Care

Personal care, often referred to as in-home care, is different from home health care. Home health care is focused on meeting the medical needs of the patient through skilled care, while personal care is concerned with maximizing the patient's quality of life through assistance with ADL's (activities of daily living). The six basic ADL's are eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring (walking), and maintaining continence.

At Visiting Angels Upland, our private duty caregivers are equipped with the training and experience needed to assist your loved one with their activities of daily living. Our broad range of services are customized to your loved one's needs and can be adapted as their requirements change. With a Visiting Angels caregiver by their side, your loved one can remain independent and enjoy living where they want to—at home.

Each Visiting Angels agency is a franchise that is independently owned and operated. The Franchisor, Living Assistance Services Inc., does not control or manage the day to day business operations of any Visiting Angels franchised agency.
