This is the home care team 'behind the scenes' that provides guidance and support to our clients and caregivers. Dan Pope – Director/Owner
Dan started the Knoxville Visiting Angels Franchise in 2007 after working 26 years as a Corporate Management Accountant. Dan conducts all new client Consultations and is “hands-on” with all accounting functions. Dan willingly steps in to assist the Administrative Team as needed.
Darlene – Office Manager
Darlene is from Kingsport, Tennessee, and began a career with Visiting Angels in January 2020 as HR Manager before assuming the role of Office Manager in September 2021. Darlene’s responsibilities include EE Interviewing/Recruiting, Social Media Liaison, customer service, and overall problem resolution. Darlene keeps the office running like a well-oiled machine.
Cameron – Client Care Coordinator
Cameron is from the Knoxville, Tennessee area and joined the Visiting Angels family in August 2020. As the” VP of First Impressions”, she strives for excellence in developing and building relationships with both clients and employees. Cameron also manages Long Term Care insurance documentation and assists with HR functions, such as Orientation, Caregiver Recognition, and training.
Maranda – Weekend Client Care Coordinator
Maranda is from Maynardville, Tennessee and joined the Visiting Angels family in February 2022. Maranda previously worked in the industry as both a Caregiver and Program Coordinator. Maranda is a “Weekend Warrior” and provides support to weekend clients and employees. Maranda also manages state required documentation and supports HR functions as needed.
Sandy – Bookkeeper/Office Assistant
Sandy is from Clinton, Tennessee, and joined Visiting Angels in December 2018. “The Velvet Hammer” is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to help her team. Sandy’s responsibilities include accounts receivable, collections, payroll, and billing. Sandy also provides administrative support to the other office team members.
