Since 2020, Visiting Angels of Toms River has been dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to the seniors in our community. Dave Frost and Dan McAloon purchased the Toms River franchise in June 2020 after extensive research, They were drawn to Visiting Angels’ trusted reputation and long history of service.

The Heart Behind the Toms River Angels

Our values are an important guiding force behind our goal to preserve the quality of life and dignity of clients in our community who wish to remain at home. Not every senior who experiences difficulty maintaining their daily responsibilities needs to live in an assisted living facility or nursing home. At Visiting Angels, we’re dedicated to providing an alternative that offers safe, reliable care and sets us apart from other home care agencies.

Our Mission Statement and Guiding Philosophy:

Visiting Angels operates under a basic guiding philosophy: treat our clients as comfortably and reliably as we would want our own parents, grandparents, or children to be treated.

To accomplish this, we believe in continuity of care and strive to ensure each caregiver and client form a personal and consistent relationship for the duration of our service.

We encourage open and ongoing communication with you to address any concerns or questions you may have by making sure a live person answers our phones 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our goal is to help you and your loved one feel comforted and confident in the care being provided.

Caregivers You Can Count On

Every potential employee for Visiting Angels is thoroughly screened through local and national criminal and driving databases. After the background check, a two-step interview process begins.

Once they’ve made it through the interview process, they’re further trained and supervised by our on-staff director of nursing. While the process is extensive, it allows us to provide the best possible care from highly qualified caregivers.

We also offer certification opportunities for individuals seeking to become home health aides in New Jersey via our Angel Caregiver Academy. Program graduates who obtain their CHHA license through Angel Caregiver Academy are eligible for employment at our Visiting Angels Toms River location.
