How Does Live-In Care Work?
With live-in care services you will be assigned a caregiver who will live in your loved one’s home for the duration of the agreed upon time frame. A separate bedroom is required and the caregiver is to also allotted hours a certain number of hours of uninterrupted time for rest and meals each day.
Before care is provided, you will need to contact our office to schedule an in-home consultation. During the in-home visit, we will go over live-in care services as an option. We will want to learn more about your loved one's needs, any conditions, challenges, and current routines or activities. We will also want to assess the home where care will be provided and ensure proper living space is available for our caregiver. After this assessment, we will draft a custom care plan that best fits your needs and preferences.
