Judy Snyder 

Owner

Judy and Roy Snyder started Visiting Angels – St. Charles in 2008. They had lived in the area for over 20 years and were looking to get out of mainstream corporate. The husband/wife team started exploring small business opportunities. At the time, Roy had a Master’s Degree in Human Resources and was working toward his PhD in Business Administration. His business background, along with his prior military experience, gave him a solid foundation to start his own company. Judy’s nursing background and experience working for many years with the elderly at her church gave her firsthand understanding of the vast need for help that so many families with elderly and/or somewhat infirmed parents were struggling to find. Visiting Angels seemed like a God-ordained fit. Month by month, year by year, the company grew. One thing remained constant through all the years – Judy and Roy’s genuine desire to care for and help others. Roy has since passed from this life to a more glorious life with his Lord and Savior, Jesus. He is greatly missed by family and friends alike. Judy still resides in St. Charles and continues to advocate for those who need a helping hand.

Kathy Versemann

Director of Operations 

Kathy has been working with Visiting Angels since November 2020.  Kathy brought with her more than 20 years of experience in the Health Care environment.  Kathy enjoys working with a team that cares for people – both caregivers and clients!  The teams’ hearts are what helps Visiting Angels succeed.  Kathy enjoys working with the owners to develop programs to reward the caregiver and office teams.  Retaining quality people is important to our ability to deliver quality care.  Kathy earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting at Valparaiso University.  When she is not at work, she’d like to be golfing. Kathy resides in St. Charles with her husband, Mike, and has two boys – one in high school and one in college.

Georgene Miller 

Caregiver Supervisor  

Georgene has been providing home health care services to seniors for many years and has been an exceptional caregiver with Visiting Angels since 2011. Today as our Caregiver Supervisor, she uses those same values to ensure our clients can remain safe and comfortable in their homes for as long as possible.  Outside of work, she has been married since 1981 to her husband Rick and is a proud mom to a son and a daughter.  She’s also a loving grandma to two beautiful grandchildren and devoted pet mom. She currently resides in St. Charles.

Janice Asberry 

 Client Care Manager  

Janice joined the staff in May 2021.  Janice comes to us with over 11 years of office and customer service experience.  Through her own experience with family members requiring home health service, she has a heart for Seniors and caregivers.  She loves the challenge of scheduling to meet the needs of the clients while considering the overall wellbeing of our caregivers.  Janice has been married over 30 years to her husband Sam.  Together they have 2 adult daughters.

Office Manager

Kris joined the staff in January 2018, bringing more than 15 years of office experience with her.  She was a caregiver with Visiting Angels for a year before joining the office team.  She loves working for such a rewarding organization that makes a difference in the lives of many people in her own community and beyond.  Kris has been a resident of St. Charles since 1996.  She and her husband Dave have two college-age children.

Lara Vitiello

Marketing Assistant

Lara recently joined Visiting Angels after being at home with her two teenage boys.  She holds a master's degree from Lindenwood University and a bachelor's degree from Kansas University.  She has over 20 years of business-to-business and business-to-consumer marketing, business development and community engagement experience.  Her personal experience with compassionate home care and helping seniors age in place drew her to the mission of Visiting Angels.  Lara and her husband, Tony, are very active and enjoy biking, tennis, pickleball, golf, boating and water sports.
