About Visiting Angels

Jim and Nancy are both long time residents of Eastern Tennessee. They opened Visiting Angels of the Tri-Cities in 2009 because of their passion for providing service to others, and the need for quality home care in the area. With backgrounds in operations management, they are dedicated professionals that bring a wealth of experience to our community. The owners of Visiting Angels have always held the philosophy that they are in business to provide the best care possible to seniors as well as others who need in home care while giving total respect to the care giving staff.

Since 2016, daily operations of the Gray, TN location have been managed by David Meade. David is a graduate of East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, and is a lifelong Tri-Cities resident. Mr. Meade says, "Our goal is to create a warm and supportive environment that feels like family. As the Executive Director of Visiting Angels of the Tri-Cities, I am proud to lead a service that values trust, commitment, respect, and genuine connection in every aspect of care. We want to inspire our clients to live independently, but also with with dignity and comfort when assistance is required."
