How Do I Become a Caregiver?

The Visiting Angels' Caregiver Development Program (CDP) consists of education, training, competency, and peer-to-peer mentorship to ensure caregivers have the tools to provide the best at-home care.
Basic requirements include:
- Driver's license
- Car
- 1 year of caregiving experience
- Pass a background check
- (optional) HHA or CNA certifications
Our Angels make differences in the lives of the seniors, disabled adults, and veterans they serve. Our caregivers travel to the following communities around Western Massachusetts: Chicopee, Agawam, Montgomery, Westfield, Wilbraham, Holyoke, Ludlow, Southwick, Southampton, Springfield, West Springfield, Longmeadow, East Longmeadow, and the surrounding communities.
