SUSAN KAHLAU – Owner and Director
Owner and Director of Visiting Angels in Luzerne and Lackawanna Counties, a graduate of Bloomsburg University, Susan has spent the last 9 years helping to improve the quality of life for senior both in the community and in the home by focusing on proving the highest quality of care and accountability. The goal of her business is to build long relationships between families and their caregivers. This results in improved quality of life among seniors and a healthier work-life balance among their families.

CAROL, LPN – Client Care Director/Marketing/Admissions
Carol has twenty five years experience in the Healthcare Industry. She has worked in a hospital environment, clinic, long term care, occupational care facility and home health agency. Her goal is to tailor a program of care based on your individual needs and see to it that your loved one remains comfortable in their home.

RENEE, LPN – Operations Manager, Wilkes-Barre
Working alongside Carol, Renee provides the extra support needed to ensure that our clients’ needs are met and they remain comfortable in their home. Renee has worked in Healthcare since 2008 when she began her career as an “Angel” with Visiting Angels.

ALICE – Client Care Supervisor/Recruitment, Scranton
Alice has been employed in various positions in the Healthcare Industry for over 15 years to include office manager, scheduler, and billing specialist. Currently functioning as Caregiver Coordinator in our Scranton office, Alice is the mother of 2 grown children and has one granddaughter.

KATHLEEN (KATIE) – Care Scheduler
Katie has twenty five years experience in the healthcare Industry. She started her career at Keystone Community Resources in 1994 as a Direct Services Provider, caring for adults with developmental disabilities. During those 25 years, Katie held the following positions: Direct Support Professional, Lead Staff and Program Manager for the large community homes. Katie was also a active member of the Safety Committee. She came here to Visiting Angels as a Care Scheduler in February of 2019 looking forward to a new beginning. “I plan to continue to achieve the goals I set for myself. I will enjoy helping with building relationships between the clients and their caregivers.” 

KATHY – Marketing Manager
Kathy has over 25 years of Marketing and Advertising experience. She held positions as National Advertising Manager, Marketing Manager and Designer at a local newspaper where she worked for 19 years. Before joining Visiting Angels, she worked as a Television and Digital Accounts Executive. Her goal is to create awareness of the great services Visiting Angels provides and why you should choose Visiting Angels as a home care agency or an employer.

Alexandria, a graduate of Marywood University, has experience in long-term care, multi-speciality clinics, and management. Her goal is to make a difference by continuously improving the quality of care and experience for all clients and caregivers at Visiting Angels.

JAMES HOGAN – Care Scheduler
Before starting at Visiting Angels James worked for Keystone Community Resources as a Residential Manager working with individuals with developmental disabilities for 17 years. For 10 years Jim was a supervisor responsible for the well being of individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a home setting.

Each Visiting Angels agency is a franchise that is independently owned and operated. The Franchisor, Living Assistance Services Inc., does not control or manage the day to day business operations of any Visiting Angels franchised agency.
