Visiting Angels – Charlotte NC Earns 2016 Best of Home Care® Leader in Excellence Award

Visiting Angels of Charlotte NC earned the distinguished Best of Home Care ‘Leader in Excellence Award’ from Home Care Pulse, the leading firm in quality assurance for private duty home care. The ‘Leader in Excellence Award’ is earned by select home care businesses that consistently ranked among the highest in 18 or more client and caregiver satisfaction scores assessed by Home Care Pulse. The Leader in Excellence is awarded to approximately the top five percent, who receive the highest scores.

“This recognition shows that we at Visiting Angels of Charlotte are among the best in the nation and the only agency to receive the award in Charlotte,” said director Paul Gach. “Having a compassionate team that is caring, flexible and pays additional attention to details has contributed to our success.”

We were delighted to find out that over the past 12 months that our clients and caregivers have been even more satisfied across the board than in past years. “We are always moving forward in our care giving strategies,” said director Jill Stewart. “We pride ourselves on listening and understanding client’s needs along with striving for excellence.”

The Best of Home Care Leader in Excellence Award highlights the top-performing home care businesses in the nation. Home Care Pulse believes that by honoring these providers, families looking for in-home care for a loved one will be able to recognize and choose a trusted home care provider.

This accomplishment demonstrates Visiting Angels of Charlotte’s long-term dedication to excellent care and quality improvement. To qualify for this award, 10% of their clients and caregivers were interviewed each month by Home Care Pulse. Over a 12-month period, they received high client and caregiver satisfaction ratings in areas such as caregiver training, compassion of caregivers, communication, scheduling, response to problems, overall quality of care, etc. Using feedback from clients and employees, as well as quality benchmarks from Home Care Pulse, the management team sets goals to reach the highest level of excellence possible.
